1. Overview
Laabam.Shop is operated by Laabam One Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, a company registered in India. We respect your right to control your personal data. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable privacy regulations, you can request the deletion of your personal data from our platform at any time.

This page applies to all Laabam.Shop services including our website (laabam.shop), our mobile applications (Android & iOS), and any related services or integrations.
2. What We Delete
When you submit a data deletion request, we will permanently erase the following data associated with your account:
Account Information
Your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, date of birth, and all account settings.
Addresses
All saved shipping and billing addresses, including PIN codes, landmarks, and GPS coordinates.
Order History
Order details, tracking information, delivery confirmations, and order-related communications.
Payment Records
Saved payment preferences and transaction history (actual card/UPI data is held by Razorpay, not us).
Reviews & Ratings
All product reviews, seller ratings, Q&A responses, and feedback you submitted.
Wishlist & Cart
Saved wishlist items, shopping cart contents, and recently viewed products.
Search History
Product search queries, browsing history, and personalisation preferences.
Support Tickets
All customer support conversations, complaints, and dispute records.
For Seller Accounts, we additionally delete:
- âĸ Store name, description, logo, and banner images.
- âĸ Product listings, inventory data, and uploaded product images.
- âĸ Sales analytics, revenue reports, and dashboard data.
- âĸ KYC documents (subject to legal retention â see Section 6).
3. How to Request Deletion
You can request data deletion through any of the following methods:
1From Your Account Settings (Website)
Log In
Sign in to your account at laabam.shop.
Go to Settings
Navigate to Account Settings â Privacy & Data.
Request Deletion
Click "Delete My Account & Data" in the Danger Zone section.
Confirm
Confirm by entering your password or OTP verification.
Done
All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
2Via Email
Send a data deletion request to: privacy@laabam.shop
Please include:
- âĸ Your registered email address or phone number
- âĸ Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- âĸ Specify "all data" for complete removal, or list specific data categories
3Via Help Center
Visit our Help Center and submit a "Data Deletion Request" ticket. Our privacy team will process your request and send a confirmation email.
4. In-App Account Deletion
âšī¸ Note
Account deletion is available directly within the Laabam.Shop mobile app for both Android and iOS, as required by Google Play and Apple App Store policies.
Android (Google Play)
Open the App
Launch the Laabam.Shop app on your Android device.
Go to Profile
Tap the profile icon â Account Settings.
Delete Account
Scroll to "Danger Zone" and tap "Delete My Account".
Confirm
Enter your password or verify via OTP. Tap "Permanently Delete".
iOS (Apple App Store)
Open the App
Launch the Laabam.Shop app on your iPhone or iPad.
Go to Profile
Tap the profile tab â Account Settings.
Delete Account
Scroll to "Danger Zone" and tap "Delete My Account".
Confirm
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or password. Tap "Permanently Delete".
â ī¸ Important
Account deletion is immediate and irreversible after the 30-day processing period. You will not be able to recover your account, order history, reviews, or any associated data.
5. Processing Time
24 hours
Acknowledgement
We confirm receipt of your deletion request via email.
7 days
Account Disabled
Your account is deactivated and login access is revoked.
30 days
Full Deletion
All data permanently erased from systems, including backups.
You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion process is complete. If you change your mind, you can cancel the deletion request within the first 7 days by logging in and clicking "Cancel Deletion".
6. Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may be required or permitted to retain some data even after a deletion request:
Legal Obligations
Financial transaction records, GST invoices, and tax-related data required under Indian law (typically 8 years).
Fraud Prevention
Basic identifiers (hashed email, device fingerprint) to prevent fraudulent account re-creation or abuse.
Active Disputes
Data relevant to ongoing order disputes, chargebacks, or legal proceedings until fully resolved.
Aggregated Analytics
Anonymised, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you.
Any retained data is kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Once the retention period expires, the data is permanently deleted.
7. Third-Party Data
Laabam.Shop integrates with various third-party services. When you delete your data from Laabam.Shop:
- â We revoke all OAuth tokens (e.g., Google login), meaning Laabam.Shop can no longer access your linked accounts.
- â We delete all locally stored data received from third-party APIs.
- â We notify Razorpay to disassociate your payment data from our merchant account.
- âŗ Data transmitted to logistics partners for completed deliveries may be retained by those partners per their policies.
- âŗ We cannot delete data from sellers' own systems â contact them directly if needed.
âšī¸ Note
We recommend revoking Laabam.Shop's access from your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions for complete security.
8. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian regulations, you have the right to:
- 1. Request Access â Obtain a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- 2. Request Correction â Update or correct any inaccurate personal data.
- 3. Request Deletion â Have all your personal data permanently deleted.
- 4. Withdraw Consent â Revoke consent for data processing at any time.
- 5. Nominate â Appoint someone to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity.
- 6. File Grievance â Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer or the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Identity Verification
To protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests, we verify your identity before processing:
Password re-entry or OTP verification to your registered phone number.
Must come from your registered email address. We may send a verification link.
OTP sent to your registered phone number for verification.

If we cannot verify your identity, we may be unable to process the deletion request. This protects you from malicious deletion attempts by unauthorized parties.
10. Consequences of Deletion
Please understand the following before submitting a deletion request:
- â Your account will be permanently closed and cannot be recovered.
- â All pending orders will be cancelled (refunds processed per our Refund Policy).
- â Seller accounts: all active product listings will be deactivated immediately.
- â Any wallet balance or store credits will be forfeited.
- â You will lose access to all order history, invoices, and download links.
- â Reviews and ratings you submitted will be anonymised or removed.
- â Coupons, loyalty points, and referral credits will be permanently lost.
- â You can create a new account later, but no previous data will be restored.
